The old page was loud, chaotic, and exactly on theme, but it depended on marquees and a third-party cat API. This version keeps the playful energy while staying entirely local and much easier to maintain.
Highlights from the chaos
Rather than cycle images with external dependencies, the site now keeps a curated local wall of the existing photos and animated celebration assets.
- Bright colors stay. Broken browser-era effects do not.
- The Mitchell image set remains the center of gravity.
- The entire thing still knows it is a joke site.
